The Windows plan was designed for the company who is just starting out
on their Internet strategy or who have modest site activity. Unlike most
low-priced accounts, this account is packed with features which make it attractive
for most smaller businesses. Daily backups, Windows hosting, and daily
web-based reports detailing your site activity.
Your Own Domain
Every web account receives their own domain name on the Internet. The domain name
is the yourcompany.com in the web address and e-mail addresses. Having a domain name
helps to project a very positive corporate image and shows the world that you are serious
about doing business on the Internet. A domain name also helps people to find you since
most companies are found on the Web by typing http://www.companyname.com.
We will register your domain name for $20 a year. If you already have a domain name, we will transfer it
for you at no charge.
Generous Allowances
With this plan, the data transfer allowance is 2500 MB per month. If
your site has an average page size of 50KB, then this translates to about
a 50000 free page hits each month. Also, the disk space
allowance is a generous 50 MB, which is plenty for all but the most extensive sites.
The Starter plan includes e-mail mailboxes which respond to addresses in your
domain. The mailboxes can have many e-mail aliases, auto-forwarding to another address,
autoreply functions, and finger responses. Additional mailboxes can be easily added
as you need them.
Complete Reporting
Every day, a web-based report is generated using the highly regarded Surf Stats
analysis software detailing the activity on your site. You will know how many
visitors your site had (user sessions), how may page views (and what pages
were viewed the most/least), where your visitors are coming from, how much
data transfer took place, and many many more charts and tables. Three reports
are generated showing the traffic for the previous day, the current month-to-date
and the previous month total.
You can look at these reports to determine which pages are popular, and which
pages are getting bypassed. This allows you to concentrate your site updates
where it will do the most good, maximizing the benefit of your Internet presence.

reports in the industry, and it is included free, as a part of the Windows plan.
Secure Server
If your Internet strategy includes secure server transactions
(a specific type of order-taking) then we can add this service at any time by
converting your account to an E-Commerce account with
no additional setup fee. Likewise, if you outgrow the allowances of the starter
plan, we can upgrade you to the large plan, again with no additional setup fees.
