What Does a Website Cost?
This is a very difficult question to answer! Every website has portions which are unique
to a particular company.
To answer this question, we must first understand what it is that you want to
accomplish with your website. - If you want to have a site which provides basic
information about your company, this can be a very economical website. If your goal is
to have detailed product information and online credit-card sales, the website would
cost more. If you want to track inventory and shipping online then the website
is again more complex, and would incur additional cost.
Starting from this point, we can then work toward the specifics of what must
be contained in the website to accomplish those goals. - Do we need to include a
shopping cart? Do you need custom programming? Do we need to create tools to help
you import/export data between the website and your existing computer systems?
Once we understand these specifics, we will look at the amount of content you
have for the site. - The cost of a website would be quite different if your
company had 30 products, each in 6 colors or if your company had 6000 products in varying
colors, sizes, quantity packs, etc. We will need to understand how much content we will need
to develop to create the site. If the copy for your site is all on disk, it is much
quicker (and less expensive for you) than if the text were handwritten pages which we would
have to retype.
Once we understand all of these factors, we can give you an accurate assessment of the
cost of the website. To start the process, please use our
online quotation system to send
us some basic details. We will then follow up with you by email or phone to understand
the full scope of what you require.
