Dedicated Server Support
Dedicated servers by their very nature do not require a great deal of support from the
hosting company, but there do arise occasions where some support is needed. Below are
some resources for dedicated server support.
The Web Presence Group staff has a wealth of experience with nearly all aspects of
website design, hosting, and administration. If there are issues with your server
and you need some guidance, we are available to help you. Minor assistance is
provided free of charge. Examples of this type of assistance are:
- Your server needs to be rebooted.
- You need some help figuring out why mail relay isn't working.
- You need DNS changes.
- You suspect a denial of service attack.
- You need to have a quick operation performed from the console/GUI.
Of course, if there is a problem with the machine itself (hard drive failure,
etc) then we will be happy to repair/replace free of charge.
Fee-Based Support
For those situations where you require more than a quick suggestion or pointer,
our staff is available on a consulting basis. Examples of this type of assistance are:
- You need to have your machine reformatted and the OS reinstalled.
- You have been the target of a hacker and need help.
- You want us to install and configure XYZ software package(s).
