The Linux Dedicated Server plan is for the business which wants their own server, either due to the volume of traffic or a need to control all aspects of their site directly. The Web Presence Group offers a surprisingly low-cost dedicated server plan.

Your Own Server

       Unlike virtual hosting where the web sites of many companies share the same physical machine, the dedicated server is just that, an entire web server computer dedicated to your company's site.
       Our Linux Dedicated Servers include a standard Red Hat Linux server installation. You have complete admin and root access to the machine to load any other software you see fit.
       We use the highest quality components in our servers, and each is built-to-order. The standard configuration includes a rackmount chassis with top-of-the-line motherboard, IDE hard drive, and a 100 Mbit Ethernet port. Each server is configured to order, the plans below are representative of the costs involved. We Maintain the Computer - You Run the Show

       We maintain the physical server in our Network Operations Center, making sure it has adequate battery and generator backup, and maintaining the connection to the Internet Backbone. You have complete freedom to administer the server as you see fit. You have the admin password and have complete control of the server.

Cost

The server cost depends on several factors: the processor, the amount of RAM, and the size of the Hard Disk, etc (a beefier server carries a higher cost). Bandwidth cost is independent of the server selected, it is based on actual usage.
