that you received when you signed up.

then select the modem from the drop-down list. If there are no modems in the list,
then you need to install the software for the modem. When you have finished, press
the "OK" button.

configuration.

- Make sure the checkbox entitled "Use IP header compression" is checked.
- Make sure the checkbox entitled "Use default gateway on remote network" is checked.
- Click OK to return to the Server Type dialog box, then click OK to return to the
General setup screen.
Now we need to be sure the connection properties are right.
- Still from the General screen, click on the "Configure" button to display the
modem configuration dialog box.
- Click on the "Options" tab.
- Make sure that the only box that is checked is the very bottom one
entitled "Display modem status"

properties settings.
Now, all of the dialup connection properties should be set. Double-click on the
icon entitled "The Web Presence Group". When prompted, enter your username and
password (be sure the "Save password" box is checked) and click on the "Connect"
button. You should now hear the modem dialing and then shortly you will be
online.
